Short
A short vertical video posted on YouTube, in the Shorts section, alongside the channel’s long videos.
YouTube Shorts follow the same idea as Reels and TikTok: vertical, full screen, scrolling feed. Their strength: they live on YouTube, where people also search for answers, and can lead viewers to a channel’s long videos.
The same content can often go out as a Reel, on TikTok and as a Short. At least adapt the description and the call to action to each platform.
A software company turns its long tutorial into several Shorts, one per feature.
