Kinetic typography

Text that moves in time with the voice: words appear, grow or travel across the screen to carry the message.

Kinetic typography makes the text the star of the video. Each important word arrives the moment it is spoken, with its own size, colour and movement.

It works very well in short videos: many people watch with the sound off, and a word that lands hard on screen sticks better than a background image. The trap: too many words at once. One to three words per screen, never a whole sentence.

A physiotherapist sums up the tip of the day: “Move”, “every”, “hour” arrive one by one, the first one huge.
