Lower third
The caption in the lower part of the picture that introduces a person or a topic: name, job, place.
It is called a lower third because it sits in the bottom third of the screen; in television it is also called a name strap or super. It appears for a few seconds when someone starts speaking, then goes.
In vertical video the bottom of the screen is covered by the apps’ buttons: move the lower third up towards the middle and keep it short. It is also where a brand’s visual identity shows most.
At the start of a video, under the face: the first name, “physiotherapist” and the town of the practice, on two lines.
